This will hopefully mean each primary school can see who is attending what event
Below is the table of events. Attendance to events has been assumed for Shildon area and Sunnydale school venues - if this is incorrect please inform me ASAP. With other events requiring transport - the dance festival transport will be funded by SSCO however other transport needs to be shared amongst you.
For help in organizing transport please contact me 3 weeks before event to ensure communication between schools has been completed.

Yr 3 and 4 Sporting Heroes / TV advertsFestival - 29th June 2010 At Sunnydale School sports hall start 9.30am may run into lunch time so bring packed lunch! (to be confirmed on my return to work after maternity leave)
Dance Festival - summer term to be confirmed on my return to work.
5-a-side football / hi 5 netball tournament - 16th March 2010 on Astro turf at Sunnydale School - leaders are help arrange this event more details to follow
Cluster Training Opportunities
CORE TASKS!!! - CLUSTER MEETING!!!!
Durham county council have produced some new task cards that would be really beneficial to your school. I willhave booked in a cluster meetingon Tuesday 1st December to deliver training on how to use these in PE lessons please can you make sure you are available for this training!!!

St John's = Tuesday 12th January 2010 2.30pm -3.30pm
Thornhill = Tuesday 12th January 2010 1pm -2pm
THE NEXT CLUSTER MEETING FOR SUNNYDALE IS THURSDAY 18TH MARCH 2010 1.30PM - 3PM AT SUNNYDALE SCHOOL. PLEASE ATTEND THIS ONE!!!
SSCO time in Schools / CPD
AIM = HQPE - Each school has approximately 6 x 1hour sessions of SSCo time to be used to improve the quality of PE teaching in their school. Areas to be identified during first meeting of the Year with each individual PLT in order to be responsive to the specific needs highlighted.
Thornhill - Yr5 Gymnastics (3 hours)

St. Johns - Meetings to support new NQT completed - time available for planning and support
Once each school has used up the 6 hours, we can re-evaluate any time left over for additional support.
LEAP
Please can I have a short account from each PLT of what they are doing regarding leadership in their schools so we can display your schools fantastic initiatives? If you need support in setting this up / reviving the system please contact me asap!
