2011 Young Ambassadors!

 

Next years Young Ambassadors have been selected. 8 students from our secondary schools were nominated by their PE departments and brought along to Greenfield for a selection meeting on the 1^st July.

 

The selection was organized by this years Young Ambassadors Jayne Peaker (Sunnydale) and Linzi Davis (Greenfield) with support from Emily (SSP) and Vic (Durham County Council Sport and Leisure). The students had to complete an application prior to attending, then were interviewed to see their skills for the Young Ambassador role.

 

All the students did a great job and should be extremely proud of the way they conducted themselves. It was a very hard decision to select only 2 Gold Partnership Young Ambassadors and after changing our mind numerous times, Congratulations to:

Well done and we look forward to working with you next year and spreading the word about the Olympic movement.
